Over the past decade, Steve Maddock has steadily been establishing
himself as one of Vancouver's more versatile vocal talents. He performs
both at home and abroad as a jazz, pop, and classical singer, working in
both solo and group settings. Some recent choral credits include The
Vancouver Chamber Choir, Musica Intima Vocal Ensemble,
Chor Leoni Men's Choir and The Phoenix Chamber Choir.
As a soloist, he’s appeared on both radio and television, and has been a
featured artist at numerous music festivals. As a teen, Steve
appeared in community theatre productions: The Sound of Music,
Oliver, West Side Story, and Oklahoma.
He went on to study theatre at the University of Windsor, Ontario, where
he was cast in productions: Guys and Dolls, Fiddler on the
Roof, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Quiet
in the Land, The Real world? and Our Town.
He moved to Vancouver in 1990, and has appeared locally in productions:

the Royal City Musical Theatre Co.

In 1996 he was a member of the Charlottetown Festival Young Company, appearing in Spirit of a Nation and Stan Rogers - A Matter of Heart.

When not on stage, Steve works as a vocal jazz instructor at Capilano College. He lives in Burnaby with his wife Siri, and daughter Aubrey.
